Are you a licensed and insured carrier?

Yes, Flex is a fully licensed and insured carrier, allowing you to move with total confidence knowing your belongings are protected and in professional hands. Our team adheres to all safety regulations and provides the transport and crew necessary for a secure, high-quality moving experience.

What is the difference between Premium, Full Service, and Budget moves?

The Premium Move is our highest level of service and includes full home packing, TV boxes, large-item wrapping, mattress covers, and furniture disassembly/reassembly.

With our most popular option, the Full-Service Move, you pack your own belongings and our crew handles trailer transport, professional loading/unloading, large-item wrapping, and major furniture disassembly/reassembly.

For those seeking a no-frills, budget-friendly option, our Budget Move includes the trailer, transport, and professional loading of your items as-is. It does not include extra wrapping or materials so you’re responsible for making sure your large items are protected.

Do you offer furniture disassembly and reassembly?

Yes! We provide basic disassembly and reassembly for simple household furniture, such as standard bed frames and sectionals. To ensure a safe and efficient move, we limit this service to items that:

Require 8 screws or fewer
Take no more than 20 minutes to service
Do not contain electrical, mechanical, gas, or hydraulic components

Note: We cannot service items requiring specialized technicians, such as Sleep Number beds, gym equipment, or grandfather clocks.

Who will be moving my items?

Your move is managed by our professional Flex crews known for their 5-star efficiency. Every move includes a professional driver and a dedicated team trained to handle your belongings.

What should I expect on moving day?

Accepted Answer

On moving day, our team will call to confirm your details and arrival time. We arrive on schedule, fully prepared to manage your move efficiently and safely. With every step handled seamlessly, you can have complete peace of mind and focus on settling into your new home.

What items are restricted?

Accepted Answer

To maintain safety and regulatory standards, we do not transport hazardous materials (flammables, explosives), perishables, or live plants. We also do not move pianos, large safes, pool tables, chandeliers, vehicles, or hot tubs. A complete list can be found in our Terms of Service.

Do you offer local and long-distance moving?

Yes. We are logistics experts equipped and licensed for local, in-state, and cross-country moves. Every long-distance move benefits from our dedicated trailer model, ensuring your items are never transferred or mixed with other shipments.

Are you licensed for interstate moves?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Flex is fully USDOT licensed and compliant with all federal regulations.

Question 11

Do you offer same-day or next-day moving services?

Accepted Answer

We provide same-day and next-day services for moves that require a fast turnaround. While early booking is always ideal, our team is ready to help you manage your move on short notice.

Question 12

What is your policy for cancelling or rescheduling my service?

Accepted Answer

Book with confidence! A $50 deposit is due at the time of booking. You have up to 48 hours after booking to cancel and receive a full refund. A $200 non-refundable advanced payment is due 48 hours prior to your move date. This payment is applied directly to the total cost of your move. If you cancel or reschedule within 48 hours of your scheduled move date the $200 advanced payment will not be refunded. To make adjustments or to request a cancellation, contact our Customer Care department at support@flex.storage with your order number.

Question 13

Do I need to be present for my move?

Yes. You or a designated Day-Of Contact (who can sign legal documents) must be present for the entire arrival window and the duration of the service. If we cannot establish contact within 15 minutes of arrival, we may need to reschedule.

What storage services does Flex offer?

Accepted Answer

Flex provides portable storage trailers designed for easy loading and secure storage. We can deliver your trailer to any address you choose, or you can store it safely at one of our secure lots. Store your belongings for as long as you need, no contracts required.

Question 15

How do I access my Flex if it's stored with you?

Accepted Answer

Just give us at least 3 days' notice, and we'll deliver your Flex trailer to your location so you can access your items. Once you're done, we'll return it to our secure lot.

Question 16

How does at-home storage work?

Accepted Answer

We deliver an empty, clean Flex trailer to your location on the scheduled day. It's yours to fill, pack, and access throughout your storage period.

Question 17

How do I get my unit moved to another address?

Accepted Answer

You can request your Flex to be moved with 3 days' notice. Contact support@flex.storage for urgent requests.

Can Flex load my unit for me?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! If you'd rather skip the heavy lifting, our Flex Team can load your trailer for you for an additional fee.

Our trailers are built with top-tier insulation and equipped with 24/7 temperature and humidity controls. Additionally, we can track your Flex in real-time via GPS and rest easy knowing you are the only person with a key to your unique lock.

Yes. Flex units are meticulously engineered to be weather-resistant and insulated against external harm. Because you hold the only key and the units are monitored by sophisticated sensors 24/7, your belongings are significantly more secure than in a traditional self-storage lot.

10ft Trailer (6’W x 10’L x 7’H): Ideal for small apartments, condos, seasonal items, or hobby and sports equipment.
14ft Trailer (7’W x 14’L x 7’H): Great for 1–2 bedroom homes, decluttering, small renovations, or bulky recreational items.
Multiple 14ft Trailers: Recommended for full home renovations, transitional moves, oversized furniture, and commercial storage.

Do you offer insurance to protect my items?

Yes! While we take every precaution to keep our facility secure, your items must be insured while in storage. To make this as easy as possible, we partner with Storage Protectors, a leading third-party provider specializing in self-storage insurance.
