Common Elbow Injuries

The Elbow Joint

Were you a little too aggressive on the tennis court? Did you try and pitch all nine innings? Elbow injuries are usually the result of sports that involve throwing or swinging; such as volleyball, golf, tennis and baseball. The elbow can also be injured in contact sports such as hockey and football. Repetitive abuses stemming from work-related tasks or overexertion are other causes of injury. The result is usually pain, stiffness and diminished range of motion.
